I remember seeing Sister May getting Baptized on Zoom. That was a day I won't ever forget.
I remember working with Sister May on zoom and listening to her wonderful stories. I will miss her dearly.
I remember Sister May's energetic personality and the stories she would share about her childhood during service on zoom. She would talk about the good and the bad thngs in her childhood, the lessons she learned, how she came into the truth, ect.
I remember when Sister May was so exicted to see the Noah's Ark play we performed at our last congragation gathering.
I remember Sister May's heart felt comments during the metings. It encouraged me and everyone else who attended. I'm sure everyone looked forward to hearing her comment during the meetings.
I remember when Gwendolyn and I had a talk at the hall and although she was a little nervous she did a phenomenal job.
I remember when Gwendolyn got baptized outside on that cold afternoon, i remember it so well because i had the privilege and pleasure of participating in her baptism.
I loved to be on zoom with Gwen, and sister McDowell who aided her in the truth. There was never a dull moment, there was much encouragement and laughter between the two of them.
I remember when Gwen was already set to have the last word said
I remember your mom's warm smile. Saw her a few weeks ago at her meeting
I remember when Gwen and Art had a conversation on zoom about how Art felt Goldie donuts was the best donuts in town. Gwen had to go check them out. After that Gwen was always going to bribe him with some of those donuts or bring him some when he wasn’t feeling well.
I remember when Gwen and myself were inseparable as little girls. We cried to stay overnight with each other after our parents visits. We had the same Suzy Smart dolls and Easy Bake ovens for Christmas as well as other toys. We had to have the same cute little dresses. We were twins eventhough I am 3 years older. We moved on different ends of the city but kept in touch on a weekly basis. I will miss my cousin/sister dearly🥲
I remember when Gwen was happy and smiling all the time.
I remember when Gwen Was wearing a hat that I adored. I understand now that the color of the hat, was her favorite color red. I told her how much I loved the hat.
The next time I saw sister May she hat a red hat for me. She was that type of person.
She will be missed.
We will see her in the ressurrection.
I remember when Gwen and I graduated together from Collinwood High School in 1977. Then we got reacquainted when we attended meetings at the Kingdom Hall. We would talk after the meetings and talk about High School Days and the Hope we found in the Bible.
I remember when we were Kappa Sweethearts. What a time we had.
I remember when Gwen took myself and my twins to the Greyhound bus station that winter day so I could escape the toxic relationship that I was in. I have been forever grateful since that day. Missing you my friend.
I remember when Gwen would call me and we'd talk for the longest about our time working for the County or how she would remind me of all the stories about what we all did together as kids.If you wanted to know family history, she was the person we asked.
I remember when Gwen told me what took her so long to decide to get baptized. I'll never tell our little secret. Lol. I have so much respect for the fact that she never wanted to be a hypocrite. Can't wait to see her again so we can laugh together some more!
I remember when we worked together.
